Nicolas Cage teams up with Martin Scorsese to create one of the weirdest works of EMT fiction to ever hit the big screen. We’re talking about 1999’s “Bringing Out the Dead,” which stars Cage as a burned-out paramedic in Manhattan who is haunted by the patients he failed to save. On the plus side, he does get to drink and do drugs on the job, so we’re really not sure what he’s complaining about. If only SOMEONE would FIRE HIM, DAMMIT! Just like our next episode, that apparently must wait until next week.
